Blackberry Rim 8830 questions?
I'm with Alltel and I'm getting one in a few days and I was wondering if... 1.) I'm not going to have internet with my plan, but can you still get it from WiFi? 2.) Can you download apps like facebook and twitter to it?
And anything else you want to say about it would help alot. Thanks.
if u cant download facebook n twitter u can still go to it thru your browser just type it in if it don't go thru try it again u can go on any site thru your browser click on go to and type in the www. address

I just bought off a RIM Blackberry 2750 off eBay for $50 it stated it was ready to go with Alltel, but I'm afraid that when it arrives it won't work with Alltel, and it'll be past the 30 Day Guarantee.
Assume you mean a 7250...on the day you get it, call Alltel and tell them you want to change your ESN number and add a Blackberry data plan. The ESN Number is either under the battery or in Options/settings>status. (reset the device if you haven't already done so by removing the battery for 30 seconds) and fire the device up. If you get a 1X (notice capital X) connection, you should be able to work. Blackberry devices do NOT work without having the special Blackberry program in place.
