Nokia N96 Black: The king with new clothes

N96 Black is the king with new clothes in the house of Nokia N series. It is full of all gen next features that fully satisfy users need. Its vertical dual slide design is perfect for any style statement. The active stand-by screen is a nice and convenient way of bringing shortcuts to all favorite applications to your home screen. One can even assign shortcuts to websites of your choice for quicker access.

Nokia N96 black runs on the Symbian 9.3 OS with Series60 3rd Edition user interface. The 2.8" treat of a screen is probably the best way for this phone. The 5 mega pixel camera lens at the back is complemented by dual-LED flash and the kickstand. Kickstand allows the phone to be placed on a desk at the best angle for TV/video watching. It is quite a nice but one the fragile piece of plastic should be handled with care. As we talk about the call performance of this phone, the chubby fellow is doing pretty well. It doesn't have any problems with low signal or any sort of interferences. Along with this there is no preinstalled smart-dialing feature.

The Symbian style phonebook of Nokia N96 three contract has practically unlimited capabilities. The storage space can possibly stretch out to fill the whole phone memory, which is impossible even if you tried intentionally. Its keyboard is also quite well and the software support is completely up to the Symbian high standard.

This duo also supports all common message types - SMS, MMS and email. With the huge number of supported formats you will hardly ever come across an audio file that the phone won't play. The FM radio on N96 has a nice and simple interface and can automatically scan and save the available stations in your area.

Canon Powershot-Lens Retract Error/Black Screen?

I own a Canon Powershot SD 1100 IS and lately the lens won't retract or extend fully most of the time. The screen is also black when I take pictures, although it will show the menus and battery life on the display. It looks like the interior lens cover is not coming off, causing all photos to come out black. Is there any way I can fix this myself/has anyone else had a similar problem? Where can I take it to be fixed if necessary.
