Why do Catholics don't bring bible when going to the church yet they have cell phones brought and digi cam?

Cellular phones are distracting when they ring inside the church especially during mass and communion. But what I'm saying is they can bring phones and digi cam but bible, they don't bring. Are they ashamed to bring bible in the church? Why do born-again Christians aren't ashamed to bring bibles including youth and kids? Catholics I need your answer including nuns and priests if they're listening.

Taking a Bible to church is a personal decision. It is important to live the word of God and not to flaunt it.
