Tmobile G1? ?

hi i just ordered a g1 and i want a cover for it. i want it to protect from falls and hits. Please help me. should i get a silicone, plastic or a case. I want one that looks cool and has colors on it. i cant find any on the tmobile website. and also should i get a screen protecter because its touch screen, does that mean it will be hard for me to hit somehting? HELP!
also i just ordered it for 379.99 without a 2 year extension. doees that still mean i can use the internet?

The screen protector will not make it hard for you to interact with the phone at all.

As for the covers, I'll include some web sites that you will be able to find some cool. I'd stick with a case if you want it to be protected.
