1. what are dummy/display phones used for ?
2. Where can you buy cheap silver trim for a sidekick lx ?
3. Can i buy a dummy phone and use the trim on it and take it or put it on my sidekick lx ?

The dummy phones are only meant to show off and that's it - I'm not too sure if they sell dummy's but you might be able to get them from e-bay - you can buy casings (trim) for your phone online but i don't think you would be able to take the casing off of a dummy and put it on your SK LX.
Dummy phones for a dummy?
Hi, starting to get sick of people in the telstra shop playing with phones and breaking them especially when we sell the display models. My question is where can I can dummy models for some of the latest phones aka blackberry bold, walkwan W850 and LG viewty ect.
I can get about 4 models through the same place we order phones off telstra but there are a few that are not looking newer than new if ya know what I mean haha. Preferably the phones cant have vodaphone or optus on them haha I've tried ebay but there must be other options too so any help would be awesome
You could probably go to china with the order.
Just go onto one of the major chinese export trade websites like
- Alibaba.com
- Made-In-China.com
and search for a fake or dummy phone.
Remember! If they're way too cheap - 50c -> $3.00 - they're scammers. If they're upward of this price, they're most likely real. Before you buy though, there is an article on how to avoid scammers on the alibaba website. It has some pretty vital info in it.
