How do I remove dust in my screen protector for my nintendo ds?

A screen protector has two sides. One side is for the front, and the other side is the semi-sticky one. I accidentally got dust and random stuff all over the semi-sticky side. (The side that sticks on the screen). How do i remove the dust? I'm afraid if I put water over it, it might smear the sticky stuff and ruin the protector.

Also: How do i remove air holes in the screen protector?

These screen protectors are the gamestop ones.
The dust particle create the air bubbles. I want to get rid of the air bubbles.
I think the screen protector uses static to cling on the ds screen.

Get eyeglass cleansing wipes to clean the monitor and it will look crystal clear and for the other thing, but a can of compressed air to solve the problem, and you should be good to go . This is what I do to mine and it works prefect.
