Garage door opener has failed 2 remotes don't work so what is the least damaging way to get in?

The problem is in a detached one car garage. Power in the garage also operates a sprinkler system which is working. A keypad on the outside of the garage has not worked for some time. One remote is kept in the house and the other is in a car. Door is wooden, the opener is a "Sears" brand with an "eye" safety on each side (bottem)of the door and no key release or battery backup. Only one window that hasn't been opened...ever, is painted shut and there is furnature in front of it in the garage. There is a skylight that seems to have been made of an acrylic sheet with a lot of silicone. Walls are wood frame construction with cement-asbestos tile siding. I know if I can get in any other way I can pull the release to open the door, but: What is the least damaging way to get in?

Considering removing the door molding but don't know if I can then reach the catches. There is no particular emergengy. Possible junk fell infront of safety and turned off opener? Thanks.

Check the batteries in the remotes,they may be dead. As well check the battery in the keypad. One of these might do it for you.If not I would go for the window, heck it doesn't work any way.This is probably cheaper than a skylight.
