LG KP500 Cookie:A handset with a lot of fascinating features

Is this the correct process for usb flashdrive?

When I use the usb flash drive, it comes up as drive E. I then store my data into this drive. Now, once the flash drive has been removed, is there any way that the data I transferred into the flash drive can remain stored in the computer somewhere, OTHER than the location that I pulled the data from? Please use simple language. Thanks a lot.

I don't really understand the question because it is a bit broad even with the description, but here are some of my thoughts.

My initial thought is no, but it really depends on where the information is coming from.

Did you transfer the information from your own computer to the flash drive where it was already saved? It'd only be where it was saved on your computer and on the flash drive.

Did you transfer the information from a school or library computer to the flash drive? It depends if you saved it to the computer or not. Of course if you saved it then it would be just where you saved it and on your flash drive.

If you used the library or school computer to use a word processor like Microsoft Word and chose the file to be saved to the flash drive it wouldn't be on the computer, just the flash drive and no other place.
