Would you like to own a custom built cell phone?

I am building a custom cell phone from scratch, I might consider providing this service to others, if you could own one:-

1.) What features would you like it to have apart from the phonebook, standard dialing and call log features?
2.) What your be your ideal form factor? (eg: candybar, clamshell, PDA type, others)
3.) Would you like gold/silver/platinum finishing in it?
4.) Would you like GPRS/Bluetooth/Java Games/Wi-Fi in it?
5.) How much would you pay for it?

Hello ariel, I have answered your Bluetooth question on its page.

What I would like, is a cellphone that I can ADD to.
slots for Camera(and type)(3mp, or just quick pics).
Ram cards, CF, sony, what ever..
USB slot, for KB, flash ram file transfers(esp for pics).
And Muti processor, so you can answer the phone and still use the PDA, net meeting, and so forth.
Make a phone that you can ADD what you want, AFTEr the sale. to improve the phone and KEEP it, insted of needing to buy a new one for EVERY tech advance. you will ALWAYs be selling the accessories.

If you really want the best idea, just make one with a decent signal and range. 0.3 watts isnt enough for the area Im in.

Verizon and Blackberry Pearl's?

Ok i want a Blackberry Pearl on the Verizon Network. Im already in a family plan on Verizon and I have a Silver enV. My parents have a pda but some how my dad made it where they didn't have to get the pkg where you have to choose eith emailing and internet or unlimited internet or whatever. so do you think they would do it again? And could somebody who has a BB Pearl on Verizon describe how it look when sending a text msg? is it the same as like on the regular phone like with the little mailbox and stuff. should i even get a BB Pearl or wait for LG Voyager2 that suppose to be out in December as i "heard" probally a rumor but if true that would work perfect because thats when i would get a new phone. sorry so long but please answer!
And Blackberry Curve to i would want that or the pearl

1. No, you MUST activate a blackberry plan in order to own any blackberry. Most other smart phones/ PDA phones won't require you to have one, but since it is blackberry the "blackberry plan" is neccessary.

2. Text messaging is a little different, but pretty much the same. You just go to your adress book, scroll down to a person, and then hit menu and send SMS text. I like texting on blackberries because they show you what you said in your last text while your responding.

3. The blackberry curve is better than the pearl. Why? it has a better media player, its faster, it has a full QWERTY keyboard, better call quality, and a better screen quality, and it doesn't have as many defects as the pearl does.

Both of thoes phones are really amazing phones, so i say go for one if you want an organizer device.

And as for the voyager, i haven't had such a good experience with it.
