what software do i need to move my pics from my motorola razor phone to my pc, all-tel customer...?

i have the sync cable that goes to my phone and the pc. i have tons of pics on my razor that i would love to print, not to mention my mother and bf also have the same phone...i believe the software is supposed to be downloaded from a website and i cannot find the site! i have looked... ty. -k

Don't listen to #1 Mustang Fan. This is the 21st century! Information is free! I move pictures and ringtones to my Motorola V3, V3r, KRZR K1, and V3xx for FREE. This is how i do it:

Kay, easy peasy. First off, you'll need a Windows Computer. There's a very easy program that will do all the work for you. The phone will first need to be recognized by your computer, then the encoded transfer will be made through something called P2K mode. Just make sure you have no phone drivers installed already. If you do, remove them via control panel's "Add/Remove Programs" window. Here is a set of clear instructions on what I do, and what programs I use.

1) First off, you need device drivers for your motorola phone, so that your computer knows how to communicate with the phone.

That is the only reliable place to download the drivers. It will ask you to register your email, and there will be a confirmation email as i remember, so no fake emails. I did this 4 months ago, no junk mail from them since, just make sure you uncheck the boxes for information.
Download it, then install.
2) Next, you need a P2K manager

3) Now open P2K manager. You will need to then click "Options" in that window, and within Options, Uncheck the Box Next to "P2K05"
Now close the app.

4) Now you are ready to connect your phone. Get the USB cable that came with your phone, or just any old USB 2.0 will do. Windows will recognize your phone exists, and will try to install drivers. It is important that when the option comes up you, select the option "Choose Drivers to Install." Windows will find the Motorola developer drivers you installed in step 1, and you click okay, and everything is done after a few seconds.
5) Without disconnecting your phone, now launch P2K Commander. Windows will install the rest of the necessary P2K drivers in the background. To make sure your phone is recognizable by the computer, Click on the either of the two drop down menus and select "/a P2K phone system." If it makes some noise or you see a loading bar, and a folder pops up titled "mobile" in the windows under the drop down menu, you're in business. If it says it cannot recognize, go back into options and try checking the box next to P2K05.
**If this doesn't work. You've messed up the driver instilation. If thats true, Uninstall the drivers from Control Panel's "Add/Remove Programs," and repeat step 1 and 4.

Once you've done this, you can transfer your own ringtones and wall papers onto your phone. This is done under /a P2K system. Ringtones go in the "audio" folder under mobile. Wallpapers go under "picture" folder in the mobile folder. (If P2K Commander only recognized your phone when you checked the P2K05 box, ringtones and pictures are stored under /c P2K system).

Using other apps, you can get anything for free.

Skiman - Custom Skins
RSD Lite - Custom Monster Packs (changes your phone completely)
Also, you can UNLOCK your phone for free using P2K_easy_tools_v39.

NOTE: If you are going to go past the changing skins, wallpapers, ringtones, games. ie Unlocking or using Monster Packs, be careful, and take it slow, rushing causes mistakes. If you are going to load firmware, check your phone's bootloader (turn off your phone, then hold * and # and POWER at the same time until gray script appears) Write down your firmware version and bootloader if you are going to Unlock or use Monster Packs. REMEMBER this only matters if you will make serious alterations.

Using P2K Commander for Ringtones and Wallpapers, or Skiman for skins, or MotoMidman for java are NOT serious alterations and will NOT harm your phone.

btw, i just checked the site that Mustang Fan linked you to. That site is a rip off site. I have the software they're selling, they just renamed it. its FREEWARE from motorola. Don't buy it. Its real name is "P2K manager," it does the same job as "P2K Commander" which I talked about only in a little different way. For beginers, P2K commander is better. If you get into this phone modding thing, P2K Manager is used for seem edits to give your Motorola new functionalities, like changing Startup/Shutdown animations and sounds. thats all!
