Will an Unlocked iphone from the official apple store work on any prepaid sim?
Hi just wanna make sure,coz im getting it next week. so could i use my australian sim card on an unlocked iphone from the OFFICIAL APPLE STORE?. Its legally unlocked anyways.
yes it definitely should but as far as i know its cheaper to buy the iphone and pay the cancellation fee then to buy the unlocked one. anyway, before you do anything, why not try to get a free iphone :] you just complete an offer and refer friends. its up to you but its always worth a try. good luck :]

my friend who lives in georgia
bought an apple iphone online
so it's unlocked but he put
his SIM card in it and he has an unlimited text plan
he's currently in canada
and he was wondering if
he'd be charged for texting;

No your friend will not be charged for texting. He would only be charged if he/she is out of network for that carrier and/or roaming. As long as he/she isnt then he/she should be fine. Your plan/rates only change when roaming or international travel. I don't believe Canada is considered for the international charge.
