do i need the verizon vcast cd to sync music to my env?
my vd is at my moms house, and i really want to sync my music now....but i dont have the cd. and it seems like my computer doesnt recognize my phone at all...is there anything i can do or so i have to wait?
You need to download the drivers for the computer to sync music to your phone.
This approach will take about 45 min though. I will give you the website which has a 4 step process. You also have to have your account registered at Verizonwireless.com since this will be the password to access the program.
The website to download the drivers is:
www.vzam.net/vcastmusic
Choose your phone manufacturer.
Click the picture of your phone.
This will download the drivers portion to your computer.
Next you will need a program to allow the sync.
Verizon offers Vcast music with rhapsody program (for free) or monthly subscription ($14.99). Think of the subscription as monthly rentals of the music.
Once the program is downloaded, then use your Verizonwireless.com password & cell phone number to log in.
Once in then plug your phone to the computer via USB device.
Upon the far left hand side, an import library to move all music files into program.
Then you may drag & click into the phone or memory card icon.
Can I download music free from VCast (verizon) if i have a data plan? ?
And can I download ring tones free?
You can download stuff sure, but its unlikely there is anything free.
